How much does it cost to put a floor in a two car garage
After doing a lot of research on garage floor sealing and then on installation companies, I went with "Garage Floor Coating of MN." I did the photos of the garage and measured them with a simple diagram. I received the quote as well as any options I might want to add. I did choose to add the stair sealing as well. I had removed the old stairs and added a level at the top. It was large, and it came out great once coated. The whole process took four days. They started on a Monday afternoon and finished on Thursday afternoon, with no work on Wednesday. The whole process was laid out, and I signed off on the process and understanding some of the things we might encounter, such as smell and how long before walking and driving on it. Two days before walking and three before driving in winter conditions. I waited until the following Monday before I parked on it. I received brief texts each day on the estimated arrival time and what they were doing. The two man crew was very polite and efficient as well as explained a few things to me. They had covered the garage door with a light clear barrier, and I taped the inside with the painter's tape to help keep the smell down inside the house. The garage door was left open a couple of inches each night, and we never had a smell until the last day when rain was forecast and there was plastic put over the opening and the ventilation was not as good. The next day, I removed the plastic and opened the doors and the smell left. The floor looks great, I'm hoping it holds up for a long time.
